LMS^A's outstanding design for people living on low incomes, living with physical and mental challenges, and experiencing homelessness, is what drew me here. LMS^A has allowed me to focus on working with these populations, which is absolutely wonderful. We start a project by asking "Who are we designing for? What are their needs and desires?” I loved working on the Rene Cazenave Apartments, because we got to work closely with a bright, thoughtful team who worked directly with formerly homeless residents, they offered great insights into these questions. Here at LMS^A we strive to design each project to not only meet people’s specific needs, but also to create welcoming homes that encourage healthy, vibrant communities, and enhance the surrounding neighborhood.
