Marketing & Communications Manager

LEDDY MAYTUM STACY Architects (LMSA) is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Manager to join our firm to oversee and manage all project pursuits, awards, external and internal communications, marketing activities, market research and business development.

Responsibilities

Manage firm-wide marketing and communications through weekly updates to the leadership team and staff.

Support leadership team in the growth of specific market sector and individual goals, as tied to the strategic plan, annual marketing goals, and individual leadership plans.

Research pursuit opportunities in specific market sectors (community, education, affordable/supportive housing) and coordinate with leadership team on long term tracking, pursuit decisions and strategies.

Respond to RFP/RFQs: Lead proposal effort, including proposal creation, interview preparation, and oversight of submission requirements.

Respond to Awards: Oversee the awards calendar and coordinate content development and submission requirements with leadership team members.

Create high-quality client-facing communications materials to promote the firm, and ensure these assets reflect the mission and values of LMSA.

Provide writing and editing support on various communications efforts.

Support business development outreach across the studio, including identifying opportunities for networking and participation in local, state, and national organizations, events, and conferences.

Co-manage Marketing Coordinator / Designer with design teams.

Manage the firm project information, data, awards, publications, and photography.

Provide regular graphic and content updates to LMSA website, as well as social media accounts: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to ensure current information on platforms.

Coordinate with external consultants on marketing and communications efforts.

Coordinate with Director of Finance and Operations on marketing budget and expenses.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in marketing of creative services.

Bachelor's degree - Marketing / Communications or related degree preferred.

Passion and proven interest in architecture and design is desired.

Strong graphic design skills for the creation of marketing and communications materials including previous work experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign and Photoshop.

Self-motivated and highly organized within a creative team context.

Strong people skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of social media platforms.

Entry Level Designer (0-3years Experience)

Qualifications

Previous experience in an architectural office preferred.

A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited US architecture program.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Self-motivated within a multi-disciplinary team context.

Proficiency in design visualization: REVIT, AutoCAD, and presentation graphics software (i.e. Sketchup, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and hand sketching) is required. Model-building skills are highly desired.

Knowledge and interest in sustainable design practices; LEED Accreditation is desired.

Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a talented and well-rounded Administrative Assistant to join our team full-time 40 hours per week. The ideal individual will be motivated to learn the ins and outs of one of the leading architecture firms in the country. This position is best for someone who wants to gain further professional development in a team oriented, creative, learning environment. This is an essential role which plays an integral part onsite, working alongside a driven team. Our office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.

Administrative Responsibilities:
• Opening the office (8:30am-5:30pm, sometimes early arrival is required).
• Prepare the day (starting machines, making coffee, replenishing supplies, etc.).
• Providing excellent service by greeting and assisting all visitors and clients.
• Perform daily maintenance of public areas including maintaining a presentable kitchen area.
• Organize meals for meetings, luncheons, or other special events. (Weekly or more shopping trips for required perishables as well as daily bank deposit runs).
• Responding to facility related issues (lighting, printing machines, cleaning) and other miscellaneous duties.
• Audio, video, and conferencing equipment setup and maintenance.
• Answering phone calls, taking messages, and forwarding to the appropriate person.
• Manage inventory of supplies related to our office/facilities and printer and plotter equipment.
• Distribute mail, preparation of outgoing packages, and courier services.
• Assist with office layout, desk moves, and managing and maintaining IT setup.
• Assisting the architects with various tasks (filing, packaging, binding books, scanning, etc.).
• Assisting the Director of Finance and Operations and Office Manager with filing, general I.T. work, and other administrative duties.

IT Responsibilities:
• PC Environment - Install, configure, and troubleshoot equipment such as; laptops and desktops, computer hardware, software, systems, printers, plotters and scanners.
• Ensure that employee’s remote stations are working efficiently and stay connected to the server.
• Maintain a detailed track of all issues/repairs and help desk tickets.
• Document the configuration of phones, and security services.
• Perform inventory and asset management.
• Maintain and document all software and support licenses, and serial numbers.
• Partner with our outsourced IT Services for more advanced troubleshooting and comprehensive issues.

Required Experience:
• Proven basic experience with IT.
• Knowledge of computers and printing equipment.
• Ability and willingness to troubleshoot and learn unfamiliar technologies and resolve issues.
• Experience in a professional office environment providing general office support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and prioritize effectively and efficiently.
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills; an eye for improving functionality.
• Individual must have exceptional customer service skills, be self-motivated, and a team player.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.
• Over 21+ and have a current CA Driver License with no History of Accidents.
• Education: College degree preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently (Filing boxes, computers etc.).
