I want to be designing something everybody needs, not just beautiful high-end buildings for certain people who can afford it.

I’m also very interested in sustainability and translating that into architecture. I came to work in California because sustainability is such a driver in architecture here—it’s even ingrained in the building code now, which is so exciting.
