Traveling through Brazil, Chile, and Argentina gave me a fresh perspective on housing and building techniques, and made me think differently about challenges closer to home, including how to continue densifying the city while preserving its history and how to design sustainably. I am inspired by the dialogue between designers and the communities they serve to create spaces where culture and people can thrive.
