Along the Embarcadero located in the Northeast Waterfront Historic District and adjacent to the historic Telegraph Hill neighborhood, this new building will provide 53 affordable homes for seniors. The brick façade blends seamlessly into the surrounding context. The ground floor provides community spaces, a café space, and frames a public mid-block passage. A mural along the mid-block passage by San Francisco artist, Britt Henze, “Dock of the Bay” celebrates the colors of the bay, the bridge, and the sky. 735 Davis is certified GreenPoint Platinum. It is immediately adjacent to the Broadway Cove development which provides 125 units of Family Housing.

“Completion of this innovative project realizes John Stewart’s vision for what he called ‘the mother of all mixed-use projects,’ meaning an affordable and inclusive community with family and senior units, residents ranging from the formerly homeless to the ‘missing middle,’ supportive services for all residents and an on-site mixed-income childcare center – all on publicly-owned land with unparalleled views and proximity to the Bay.”
