I came here after working for nonprofit organizations advocating for good design that addressed the community’s needs.
There’s a huge homelessness crisis in San Francisco, so I find the work we do here to be necessary and challenging. Working on mission-driven projects ranging from education, to community centers, to affordable housing keeps things interesting and impactful. It’s right up my alley.
I was drawn to LMSA because the firm has a handle not only on social justice and sustainability, but also on high-quality design. That’s never sacrificed, even with the budget constraints. Designing buildings at a very human scale allows us to have fun getting into the details, while creating spaces that people will feel comfortable in for years to come.
