As an undergrad, I studied cultural anthropology focusing on social activism, social constructs and racial identity. I fell into architecture by way of chance and in doing so unveiled a hidden passion that led me to pursue it in grad school.

After seven years in the field, it all comes full circle as I started researching firms that aligns itself with a sense of social responsibility.

Reading about LMSA’s projects—a living center for adults with autism, free temporary housing for families of kids with cancer—I thought, “This is the place I want to be right now.” The work that comes out of here fits into its context and community
