Similar to the original project, three new buildings are woven into the striking, forested campus. These include a new middle school academic and administration building, an environmental science center, and a multi-purpose building. The project also includes an expanded sports field and an addition to the original student center. The new buildings are being designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification as well as Net Zero Energy performance. All energy required to operate these buildings will be provided by on-site renewable energy resources

As it models low-carbon living and learning on a daily, this project will represent an exciting next step in the Nueva School’s national leadership in innovative, sustainable education.
